En effet, les premiers exemplaires du Mustang Mach-E GT \u00c9dition Performance 2021 ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 envahir les quartiers de notre beau et grand pays, le mod\u00e8le \u2013 le nom vend la m\u00e8che, n\u2019est-ce pas? \u2013 le plus dynamique de la gamme Mach-E qui troque quelques kilom\u00e8tres d\u2019autonomie au profit d\u2019un groupe motopropulseur plus puissant, et surtout, plus g\u00e9n\u00e9reux au niveau du couple. Et avec cette injection d\u2019adr\u00e9naline vient \u00e9galement un prix plus sal\u00e9 pour s\u2019asseoir \u00e0 bord de cette r\u00e9incarnation \u00e9lectrique de la mythique Mustang GT. En fait, peut-on vraiment parler d\u2019une r\u00e9incarnation de la Mustang GT? Je vous laisse juger pas vous-m\u00eames.<\/p>\n<p>Certains diront qu\u2019il est d\u00e9plac\u00e9 d\u2019introduire un v\u00e9hicule \u00e9lectrique qui sacrifie la distance th\u00e9orique entre les recharges pour enregistrer des temps d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration plus courts, mais Ford serait fou de ne pas tenter sa chance de ce c\u00f4t\u00e9. Apr\u00e8s tout, tous les autres constructeurs \u2013 ou presque \u2013 proposent d\u00e9j\u00e0 des livr\u00e9es plus \u00e9pic\u00e9es au sein de leur alignement. Cette version GT allait-elle me faire ravaler mes paroles? C\u2019est que je suis all\u00e9 constater pendant quelques jours au mois d\u2019octobre, une p\u00e9riode de l\u2019ann\u00e9e o\u00f9 les conditions routi\u00e8res sont comme les couleurs dans les arbres\u00a0: elles changent!<\/p>\n<h3>Design\u00a0: 8\/10<\/h3>\n<p>Mon opinion n\u2019a pas chang\u00e9 \u00e0 propos de cet autre v\u00e9hicule portant le nom Mustang. Mais, rendons \u00e0 C\u00e9sar ce qui lui appartient\u00a0: le Mustang Mach-E GT \u00c9dition Performance est franchement plus joli \u00e0 regarder que le mod\u00e8le essay\u00e9 plus t\u00f4t cette ann\u00e9e. Les jantes multibranches de 20 pouces remplissent beaucoup mieux les arches de roues avec un syst\u00e8me de freinage revu par Brembo et ses \u00e9triers peints en rouge, sans oublier les appendices a\u00e9rodynamiques ajout\u00e9s qui lui conf\u00e8rent un look plus s\u00e9rieux. Il y a \u00e9galement l\u2019\u00e9cusson GT install\u00e9 en plein centre du hayon \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re, un petit d\u00e9tail qui diff\u00e9rencie cette version piment\u00e9e des autres plus effac\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<h3>S\u00e9curit\u00e9\u00a0: 9\/10<\/h3>\n<p>M\u00eame son de cloche pour l\u2019aspect s\u00e9curit\u00e9\u00a0: la livr\u00e9e GT, malgr\u00e9 son caract\u00e8re plus sportif, ne sacrifie pas la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de ses occupants. En fait, face au Mach-E \u00e0 deux motrices arri\u00e8re mis \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve cet \u00e9t\u00e9, le mod\u00e8le GT est probablement plus s\u00e9curitaire en ce qui a trait \u00e0 sa motricit\u00e9. Pour en revenir au syst\u00e8me BlueCruise, ce dispositif de conduite automatis\u00e9e sera ajout\u00e9 via une mise \u00e0 jour \u00e0 distance \u00e9ventuellement.<\/p>\n<p>Notez que la suite Co-Pilot360 inclut l\u2019assistance pr\u00e9collision avec freinage d\u2019urgence autonome, le syst\u00e8me BLIS qui surveille les angles morts avec alerte de circulation transversale, le syst\u00e8me de suivi de voie, la cam\u00e9ra de recul, les feux de route automatiques, l\u2019aide au freinage en marche arri\u00e8re, le sonar de recul et le freinage postcollision.<\/p>\n<h3>Habitabilit\u00e9 : 8\/10<\/h3>\n<p>Le Mustang Mach-E GT ne change rien \u00e0 la recette des autres livr\u00e9es. L\u2019espace int\u00e9rieur n\u2019est pas aussi impressionnant que dans un Ford Expedition MAX, \u00e7a va de soi. Mais, pour le consommateur \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019un multisegment de taille compacte, le premier V\u00c9 de Ford peut tr\u00e8s bien se tirer d\u2019affaire. L\u2019ajoute d\u2019un deuxi\u00e8me moteur \u00e0 l\u2019avant n\u2019affecte pas le volume des deux coffres. La pr\u00e9sence du toit en verre donne aussi l\u2019impression d\u2019\u00eatre assis dans un habitacle plus grand que pr\u00e9vu, tandis que le plancher plat \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re facilite l\u2019assise au centre de la banquette.<\/p>\n<h3>Convivialit\u00e9 : 8\/10<\/h3>\n<p>Mon premier contact avec le multisegment \u00e9lectrique ne m\u2019avait pas permis de trouver tous les recoins de ce syst\u00e8me d\u2019infodivertissement. Cette fois, j\u2019ai pass\u00e9 un peu plus de temps \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir les particularit\u00e9s de cette colonne vert\u00e9brale tactile. Au final, le syst\u00e8me SYNC de Ford demeure l\u2019un des meilleurs de l\u2019industrie, et ce, m\u00eame s\u2019il faut s\u2019habituer aux menus exclusifs de ce Mustang Mach-E.<\/p>\n<h3>Confort : 9\/10<\/h3>\n<p>Voil\u00e0 un aspect qui est souvent sacrifi\u00e9 sur la version sportive d\u2019un mod\u00e8le, peu importe la plateforme. Mais, \u00e0 l\u2019instar du Mach-E Premium \u00e9quip\u00e9 des jantes de 18 pouces, le mod\u00e8le de performance est aussi douillet pour ses occupants qu\u2019une Lincoln Continental\u2026 j\u2019exag\u00e8re \u00e0 peine! Les si\u00e8ges sont plus enveloppants, mais on ne parle pas de baquets de course impossibles \u00e0 vivre au quotidien non plus. Soyons francs, au quotidien, les 291 chevaux et 317 lb-pi de couple du Mach-E Premium sont amplement suffisants, mais puisque les ing\u00e9nieurs Ford ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de s\u2019en m\u00ealer, le Mach-E GT a donc droit \u00e0 480 chevaux et 634 lb-pi de couple, le tout reli\u00e9 \u00e0 cette transmission \u00e0 un seul rapport et ces deux moteurs \u00e9lectriques qui g\u00e8rent le rouage int\u00e9gral. C\u2019est vrai, les acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations sont d\u00e9mentielles et les quatre roues motrices sont tr\u00e8s efficaces, mais il manque quelque chose\u2026 ah oui, du son!<\/p>\n<p>Des trois modes propos\u00e9s \u2013 Whisper, Engage et Unbridled \u2013 c\u2019est le dernier qui s\u2019av\u00e8re le plus int\u00e9ressant et le plus proche d\u2019une conduite sportive. La sonorit\u00e9 artificielle activ\u00e9e via l\u2019\u00e9cran tactile est certainement \u00ab muscl\u00e9e \u00bb, mais elle ne remplacera jamais le grondement du V8 Coyote de 5,0-litres de cylindr\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Avec le mode Unbridled, la direction se raidit et le groupe motopropulseur est rel\u00e2ch\u00e9, ce qui peut m\u00eame faire patiner les quatre roues sur une chauss\u00e9e d\u00e9tremp\u00e9e : je vous confirme que c\u2019est possible! Th\u00e9oriquement, la distance atteignable est de 418 km, mais avec une telle bombe au bout des pieds, celle-ci descend plus rapidement que les calculs de Ressources naturelles Canada. En fait, en mode Unbridled, l\u2019autonomie descend sous le cap des 400 km avec une batterie pleine, c\u2019est vous dire! Qui plus est, cette situation l\u2019exclut de tout programme d\u2019incitatif financier gouvernemental. Le Mach-E le plus dynamique est davantage un rival des deux Audi e-tron, voire m\u00eame du Tesla Model Y Performance.
