L\u2019an dernier \u00e0 pareille date, je mettais \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve la Polestar 2 2021, la toute premi\u00e8re berline purement \u00e9lectrique de la marque su\u00e9doise qui venait d\u2019atterrir chez nous en version ultra-\u00e9quip\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Cette fois, j\u2019ai pu prendre le volant d\u2019un exemplaire r\u00e9solument plus d\u00e9garni de la m\u00eame berline haute sur pattes. En fait, elle est tellement d\u00e9garnie qu\u2019elle se qualifie m\u00eame pour le rabais gouvernemental qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois, ce qui veut dire que le prix de 49 900\u00a0$ de base de cette <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autohebdo.net\/recherche\/polestar\/2\/\">Polestar 2<\/a> Long Range Single Motor est plut\u00f4t de 41 900\u00a0$ apr\u00e8s l\u2019incitatif de 8 000\u00a0$ accord\u00e9 par le programme Roulez Vert. Malheureusement, Polestar n\u2019a pas r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 abaisser son montant sous la barre des 45 000\u00a0$, ce qui aurait qualifi\u00e9 la voiture pour un autre rabais gouvernemental, provenant d\u2019Ottawa celui-l\u00e0. Mais bon, Polestar cherche certainement \u00e0 se frotter aux divisions un peu plus luxueuses de l\u2019industrie et pas n\u00e9cessairement aux Hyundai, Kia, Nissan et Chevrolet (pour ne nommer que ceux-l\u00e0) de ce monde. Il est vrai que ce rouage simplifi\u00e9 r\u00e9duit la motricit\u00e9 aux deux seules roues motrices avant, mais en revanche, le poids total de la berline est moindre, ce qui contribue \u00e0 bonifier l\u2019autonomie th\u00e9orique, cette nouvelle 2 qui serait capable de rouler sur une distance de 427 km entre les recharges selon l\u2019EPA am\u00e9ricaine, un gain de 27 km par rapport \u00e0 la berline Long Range Dual Motor \u00e0 quatre roues motrices qui oblige \u00e9galement l\u2019acheteur \u00e0 extirper 7 000\u00a0$ de plus de son portefeuille.<\/p>\n<p>Finalement, cette Polestar 2 joue aussi le r\u00f4le de mod\u00e8le d\u2019entr\u00e9e de gamme avec son prix \u00ab abordable\u00a0\u00bb. Voyez ce que j\u2019ai retenu de ce premier contact par une journ\u00e9e automnale\u2026 et pluvieuse!<\/p>\n<h3>Design\u00a0: 8\/10<\/h3>\n<p>L\u2019an dernier, j\u2019accordais la note de\u00a08\/10 \u00e0 la Polestar 2. Il est donc normal que je lui d\u00e9cerne une fois de plus une note de 80 %. Il sera tout de m\u00eame int\u00e9ressant de voir ce que nous pr\u00e9pare le constructeur \u00e0 l\u2019avenir, le concept Precept de l\u2019an dernier qui a montr\u00e9 ce \u00e0 quoi il faut s\u2019attendre des futurs mod\u00e8les Polestar.<\/p>\n<h3>S\u00e9curit\u00e9\u00a0: 7\/10<\/h3>\n<p>N\u2019allez surtout pas croire que cette berline de luxe est automatiquement \u00e9quip\u00e9e des plus r\u00e9centes innovations en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Pour profiter de tout l\u2019arsenal technologique de Polestar, il faut cocher le groupe optionnel Pilot d\u2019une valeur de 4 500\u00a0$. Ce dernier ajoute la vue panoramique \u00e0 360\u00b0, l\u2019assistance \u00e0 la conduite Pilot Assist, le r\u00e9gulateur de vitesse adaptatif, le freinage d\u2019urgence assist\u00e9, la surveillance des angles morts avec assistance de la direction, l\u2019alerte de circulation transversale arri\u00e8re avec freinage automatique, l\u2019att\u00e9nuation et l\u2019alerte de collision arri\u00e8re. La 2 est sans contredit moins logeable que son cousin su\u00e9dois, mais elle se reprend assez bien gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce hayon arri\u00e8re qui d\u00e9voile un grand coffre capable d\u2019accueillir quelques objets volumineux. D\u2019ailleurs, la banquette repliable est suffisamment plate (lorsque repli\u00e9e) pour donner plus d\u2019options \u00e0 son propri\u00e9taire. L\u2019espace derri\u00e8re est \u00e9galement celui d\u2019une berline compacte, pas d\u2019une limousine. Comme je l\u2019avais remarqu\u00e9 l\u2019an dernier, cette console centrale qui monte vers l\u2019\u00e9cran tactile pourrait s\u2019av\u00e9rer g\u00eanante dans certains cas. \u00c0 vous de voir si vous aimez ou non!<\/p>\n<h3>Convivialit\u00e9\u00a0: 7,5\/10<\/h3>\n<p>On a pu le d\u00e9couvrir l\u2019an dernier \u00e0 bord de la Polestar 2 dans un premier temps, mais \u00e9galement au centre du tableau de bord du Volvo XC40 Recharge l\u2019hiver dernier. Le syst\u00e8me d\u2019infodivertissement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par le g\u00e9ant du web Google est tr\u00e8s facile \u00e0 utiliser gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses graphiques clairs, la r\u00e9ponse rapide de son \u00e9cran tactile et, mieux encore, l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de sa commande vocale. \u00c9videmment, ce genre d\u2019environnement demande quelques jours \u00e0 son utilisateur avant que ce dernier ne s\u2019habitue, mais je suis certain qu\u2019apr\u00e8s une ou deux semaines, l\u2019environnement Android finit par devenir familier. Avis aux utilisateurs d\u2019appareils Apple, il est toujours impossible de profiter du syst\u00e8me Apple CarPlay avec l\u2019\u00e9cran log\u00e9 en plein centre de la planche de bord.<\/p>\n<p>Dans certains cas, la reconnaissance vocale n\u2019est pas parfaite, mais apr\u00e8s quelques reformulations, on finit par trouver ce qu\u2019on cherche. D\u2019ailleurs, les plus observateurs auront peut-\u00eatre remarqu\u00e9 que l\u2019indicateur de vitesse est en \u00ab mph\u00a0\u00bb. C\u2019est normal, puisque ces mod\u00e8les de \u00ab pr\u00e9production\u00a0\u00bb n\u2019avaient pas encore re\u00e7u la mise \u00e0 jour pour un affichage en km\/h. En revanche, il \u00e9tait possible d\u2019afficher l\u2019autonomie en km\u2026 heureusement d\u2019ailleurs!<\/p>\n<h3>Confort\u00a0: 9\/10<\/h3>\n<p>Avec les \u00ab petites\u00a0\u00bb jantes de 19 pouces, la berline \u00e9lectrique a tr\u00e8s bien fait sur les routes bossel\u00e9es de la grande r\u00e9gion m\u00e9tropolitaine. La rigidit\u00e9 du ch\u00e2ssis rassure, c\u2019est clair, et la suspension d\u2019origine fait le travail. Quant au silence qui r\u00e8gne dans l\u2019habitacle, il contribue lui aussi au confort des occupants. M\u00eame son de cloche pour les si\u00e8ges de la voiture qui, malgr\u00e9 le dossier ajustable manuellement, sont assez moelleux pour les trajets un peu plus longs.<\/p>\n<h3>Agr\u00e9ment de conduite\u00a0: 7,5\/10<\/h3>\n<p>Face \u00e0 la 2 Long Range Dual Motor, la Polestar 2 essay\u00e9e cet automne n\u2019a tout simplement pas autant de \u00ab punch\u00a0\u00bb malgr\u00e9 les quelques chevaux ajout\u00e9s au seul moteur restant. Disons que les acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations ne sont pas au m\u00eame niveau. L\u2019an dernier, une simple pression sur la p\u00e9dale de droite suffisait \u00e0 river ma t\u00eate dans l\u2019appuie-t\u00eate du si\u00e8ge. En poussant un peu, l\u2019essieu avant avait tendance \u00e0 sous-virer et le mode Sport n\u2019arrangeait rien avec le syst\u00e8me de stabilit\u00e9 d\u00e9sactiv\u00e9. D\u2019ailleurs, j\u2019ai aussi ressenti un peu d\u2019effet de couple \u00e0 quelques reprises. Quant \u00e0 la direction, les trois modes propos\u00e9s (dans l\u2019\u00e9cran tactile) ne sont pas assez pr\u00e9cis pour que l\u2019on consid\u00e8re la 2 comme une berline nerveuse.<\/p>\n<h3>Puissance\u00a0: 7\/10<\/h3>\n<p>Pour l\u2019utilisateur moyen qui n\u2019a cure des acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations dignes des meilleures \u00e9lectriques, la Polestar Long Range Single Motor est amplement suffisante. Avec 231 chevaux et un couple de 243 lb-pi, la version de base propose un peu plus de puissance qu\u2019une Nissan Leaf Plus avec un poids l\u00e9g\u00e8rement sup\u00e9rieur. Bref, voil\u00e0 la raison pour laquelle cette Polestar 2 n\u2019offre pas d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations explosives.<\/p>\n<h3>Consommation\u00a0: 8\/10<\/h3>\n<p>L\u2019an dernier, j\u2019avais enregistr\u00e9 une moyenne de 22,8 kWh\/100 km avec la Dual Motor. J\u2019ai pu maintenir une moyenne de 25.6 kWh\/100 km apr\u00e8s une journ\u00e9e truff\u00e9e de circulation lourde, de conduite urbaine et m\u00eame d\u2019un passage r\u00e9solument plus dynamique sur une route sinueuse. L\u2019autonomie pr\u00e9vue par l\u2019EPA am\u00e9ricaine est de 427 km. Or, lorsque j\u2019ai r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9 la voiture, la batterie n\u2019\u00e9tait charg\u00e9e qu\u2019\u00e0 92 % de sa capacit\u00e9. La distance th\u00e9orique oscillait davantage autour des 380 km.
