Why hydrogen is the key for long-haul trucking

Long-haul trucking contributes almost 35 per cent of total tailpipe emissions in Canada, so we need to clean that up. But while battery electric vehicles are gaining traction in private vehicles, they don’t make sense for heavy trucks that carry tens of thousands of pounds of goods from coast to coast.
