Just a month away from the Electrified GV70’s launch, Genesis has revealed pricing for its all-electric SUV.
Only one trim version will be available; the Electrified GV70 Prestige AWD will start at $84,000. It will be the third all-electric vehicle in the Genesis lineup, which also includes the Electrified G80 and the GV60.
Based on the gas-powered GV70, the electric version gets two motors for all-wheel drive and a combined 429 hp and 516 lb.-ft. of torque, with a 10-second bump to 483 hp in Boost mode. The 77.4kWh battery found in Electrified GV70 is capable of rapid charging from 10-80 per cent in just 18 minutes with 350kW (800V) DC fast charging. There is no indication of range as of yet, but the battery is the same size as the smaller GV60, which is advertised with 399 km of range.
Of course, like its gas-powered brother, the Electrified GV70 is packed with luxury, features and technology. A suit of safety systems includes Highway Driving Assist II, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, among others. Luxury touches include Napa leather seats, microfiber suede headliner, active noise control, heated second row seats and steering wheel and an exclusive Mood lighting treatment.
It also includes Vehicle-to-Load Charging, which allows the Electrified GV70 to be used as a power source.
More details on the Genesis Electrified GV70 will be revealed closer to the launch next month.
