The new Chevrolet Blazer EV has only just debuted, and already it’s been suffering serious software glitches. And now General Motors has issued a ‘stop sale’ on the electric SUV to figure out what’s wrong.
“We are aware that a limited number of Blazer EV owners have experienced some software quality issues,” Chevrolet said. “To ensure our customers have a great experience with their vehicle, we are temporarily pausing sales of Blazer EVs. Our team is working quickly to roll out a fix, and owners will be contacted with further information on how to schedule their update. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
Edmunds, InsideEVs Green Car Reports and other outlets with access to the vehicle have found numerous faults, some serious enough to render vehicles immobile. There is no word as to how long it will take GM to fix the issues.
