Late last year, Lexus previewed an electrified sports car, and while this incited a fair bit of online buzz and consumer excitement, we were largely left to our imagination when considering what the new EV would look like. At the time, photos of the sports car, which features a two-door design, were in relatively short supply. Fortunately, we are now getting a close-up.
Lexus debuted a gallery of images of the new concept, which showcase an undeniably sleek and eye-catching exterior design. While the images are sure to delight fans of the brand, they are not paired with any further information on the vehicle.
Based on the previous reveal, the new battery-powered sports car is predicted to have a 0-60 mph time in the mid-2-second range, and its total range is going to be greater than 550 kilometres. However, the proposed range is reliant on the use of solid-state batteries that, for now, have not fully come to fruition.
Of course, the design of the concept featured in these photos is subject to change as the project evolves, but if Lexus’ other entries into the luxury sports car market are any indication, drivers are in for a treat with this electrified sports car.
