They say a pictures is worth a thousand words, so perhaps it should come as no surprise that Lucid Motors treated its audience to new images of the Gravity SUV this week. Just hours after sharing details of the final two versions of Air Touring and Air Pure sedans, Lucid Motors debuted new details of the highly-anticipated, all-electric Gravity SUV which has, until now, been kept mostly under wraps.

The images were shared during a livestream event and were followed by some key details such as reservations, production schedules, and vehicle design. The Gravity SUV is the automaker’s second flagship vehicle, which is expected deliver more range than any other EV on the market (aside from the Lucid Air).

“Gravity builds upon everything we have achieved thus far, driving further advancements of our in-house technology to create a luxury performance SUV like none other,” Lucid Motors detailed in a press release shared after the livestream event. “Just as Lucid Air redefined the sedan category, so too will Gravity impact the world of luxury SUVs, setting new benchmarks across the board.”

If the images are any indication, the Gravity SUV is a decidedly sleek and futuristic vehicle, which is sure to bear all the signature markings of the Lucid brand: luxury, space, and performance.

“I’m so thrilled with the results we are seeing with Lucid Gravity, sparing no opportunity to build on everything we learned with Lucid Air to create something that warps the vehicle-class continuum,” shared Lucid’s Senior Vice President of Design Derek Jenkins. “It is both a supercar in disguise and an SUV with flexible passenger and cargo space that seems impossibly big relative to the exterior size of the vehicle. And it does this all with Lucid’s distinctive post-luxury design, inspired by California.”
More details pertaining to the Gravity SUV are expected to be revealed in early 2023, and deliveries are expected to begin in the US and Canada in 2024.
